Outdoor activities

We love staying active, both in- and outdoors … and we are happy to share these moments with you. So feel free to join us whilst you are here on your vacation. Whether you feel you’d like to find your balance with a yoga session, go on a (guided) hike, or explore the nearby trails running or biking – all of these activities and more are right on your doorstep! Do let us know in advance if you can and please note for some of the guided activities there is an additional charge.

Yoga Classes

Yoga sessions are offered on-site in our very own beautifully renovated studio — find a peaceful moment to breathe, refocus, and release tension. I practice Vinyasa yoga primarily: a flowing sequence of poses that improves breathing, posture, and energy (see our yoga website).

Aliénor Trails

Guided Hike

Explore the Aliénor trails, part of the Santiago de Compostela route or the Chemins d’Oc and d’Oïl all within a minute or so from the gîte. Whether you venture out solo or with a guide, it’s up to you. There’s something for every level, from gentle walks to more challenging hikes.

Running

The quiet country roads and nearby trails offer the perfect setting for running peacefully among fields, woods, and rural trails. Also right next door is a disused railway track that goes to villages with little cafes in either direcction – just perfect for exploring and recovery!

Cycling

This region is ideal for cycling. From the gîte, set off at your own pace to explore the surroundings following our recommended routes. Quiet paths and trails, across varied landscapes, create the perfect setting for a leisurely ride.
